Star Wars Weekends with Christian Slade
This weekend, GIANT Christian Slade will be spending his Memorial Day weekend at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in celebration of Star Wars Weekend. Christian will be appearing and signing art at certain locations throughout the park as well as releasing his new print, Magic Hour, which spotlights the view of one of his favorite attractions in the park—Star Tours!
So, if you’re visiting the park, please stop by and say “Hi” to Christian during these times:
Friday, May 23: 9am – 3pm, Art of Animation
Saturday, May 24: Noon – 2pm, Darth’s Mall
Sunday, May 25: 10am – 2pm, Art of Animation

Ethan Long’s Art Selected by Society of Illustrators
Art from GIANT Ethan Long’s book “Scribbles and Ink” was selected by the Society of Illustrators (NYC) to appear in their Original Art 2012 catalog and exhibition, which celebrates the fine art of children’s book illustration. The show opens Thursday, October 25, from 6:00pm - 9:00pm in New York City.
Matt Dunn and Victor Davila Illustrate the UCF 50th Anniversary Bus
GIANTS Matt Dunn and Victor Davila collaborated on an illustration to wrap two buses commemorating the 50th anniversary of the University of Central Florida’s founding. The buses, which can be seen driving around the UCF campus, depict riders from each decade of UCF’s existence, including the Citronaut, one of the school’s early mascots.
